Objective

The course will refresh secondary school mathematics skills. One objective is to get used to mathematical language, abstract thinking and cooperation with other students. Facilities for studying further mathematics and physics as well as professional subjects will be offered.

Content

Basics of algebra, equations, inequalities and groups of equations, vectors and vector calculations, position vector, decomposing a vector into components, functions, polynomials, derivative, trigonometric functions, rational functions, power functions, exponent and logarithmic functions, group of linear equations and its matrix representation, matrix operations, inverse of a matrix, determinant, solving a group of linear equations, vectors in a coordinate system, scalar product, projection of a vector, vector product and scalar triple product, linear transformations and their matrices in a coordinate system, applications.
