Objective

After completion of this course, the student is able to differentiate elementary functions. The participant also understands the meaning of derivative as a rate of change. Students can use computer to solve problems related derivatives.

Content

Limits and continuity.
Derivative as a measure of change and numerical differentiation.
Applications of derivative in electronics and kinematics.
Differentiation of elementary functions by using tables.
Applied maximum and minimum problems.
