Introduction to Biological SystemsLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

After completion of this course the students understand general structure of chemical elements. They know the similarity of chemical rules in living and non-living things. The students have learned chemical prerequisites of life, the role of the cell as the unit of structure in all living things as well as the general pattern in the evolution of genomes.
