Productional Clothing Technique for Special Body TypesLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

The students will focus on different body types and learn to recognize the limitations of the standardized measurement charts. They will learn to observe, measure and analyze the needs of special body types in pattern making. They will also learn to become aware of the limits of the productional clothing with respect to special body types.

Content

The students fit and measure ready made clothes and analyse how they fit the outstanding and special body types. They make patterns for clients with special body types taking the problematic parts of the client's body into account.
