Objective

Upon completion the student recognises different working life communication situations. He/she understands the importance of interpersonal communication and job atmosphere for working motivation. The student knows the practises of team work and masters the basics of project communication.He/she takes into account the requirements of the recipient, situation and each branch and is able to communicate in an analyzed, understandable and convincing way. The student is willing to develop his/her Finnish and communication skills as part of his/her professional ability.

Content

Basic communication situations in working life:
-the students explore analyze their skills in interpersonal communication situations
-negotiation and meeting practises, conflict situations
-customer community
-project work and team work
-basics of internal and external information
-professional literacy, media monitoring and designing handouts
-argumentation skills
-writing, presenting and visualizing own expert texts
