Objective

The students know the most common types of fictive TV series and master the overall structure of the series. The students are familiar with special features of scriptwriting for television, and different professional roles of the scriptwriters in the production process. The students master the basics of content development for the ideas of television series.

Basics of terminology in the television series
Scriptwriting for television in various program types
Professional roles for the scriptwriter in different program types
Fictional TV-series formats, genres and special features
TV-genre analysis

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.
