Fundamentals of Drama 1Laajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The students master the fundamentals of classical drama as the basis of film narration. The students know the elements of drama in different genres of literature and in dramatic literature. The students comprehend the characteristics of tragedy and comedy and can apply their knowledge of the basics of drama to textual analysis of different literary forms. The students learn to write a dramatic analyses of a fictional text.

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.
