Production and Productization of TV-programsLaajuus (4 ECTS)

Objective

The students recognize the program profiles of the domestic TV channels and their time slots. They understand the subscription practices and productization of programs. They are aware of funding sources of TV productions.
The students master the working principles of program formats and their production process. They recognize different genres and know special features of the production processes.
After completing the course, the students are aware of the key domestic operators in the field.

Domestic TV channels.
Profiles and time slots of the TV channels.
Subscription practices of the programs.
Format production.
Productization of TV-programs, case-study.
Producing TV series, case-study.
Key operators in the field of TV.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.
