Fundamentals of SoundLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The students master the physical foundation of the sound. They understand the importance of sound expression in narration. They know how to perceive and analyze a sound from the point of view of technology and expression. They master the basic equipment of the field and the key work environments. They know the work descriptions of sound related to typical media productions. They master the key recording situations in the media productions and can evaluate which factors influence the recording situations. They master the basics of sound editing. They are aware of the technical and artistic workflow of a typical media production.
