Exploratory DevelopmentLaajuus (12 ECTS)

Objective

Students will become familiar with the principles of exploratory development and the latest technological solutions, being able to analyse and solve problems related to exploratory development and to report on findings.

- The operating principles and project management of exploratory development
- Learning about emerging technology solutions
- Problem-solving and analysing
- Reporting of results

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation. Grade depends on following aspects:
- participation activity in classes
- self-direction and activity in studies
- communication skills
- returning the assignments in time
- ability to apply research knowledge and implement product and service concepts based on it
- recognition of pros and cons of rising technological solutions
- ability search and apply knowledge of technological solutions independently

The course will be taught in Finnish.
