Objective
Students will learn about developer-centered design and production practices and improve their skills in independent information acquisition and design. Students will become familiar with the current service design methods and modern scripting languages. They will also understand the most important new and experimental user interface technologies and the design requirements related to them. The students will learn about flexible production methods.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation. Grade depends on following aspects:
- participation activity in classes
- self-direction and activity in studies
- communication skills
- returning the assignments in time
- independent acquisition and application of information
- ability to collect and use user information in service design
- knowledge of pros and cons agile methods
- ability to design alternative user interfaces in developer centered ways
- deepening of programming skills
- ability to use different programming languages according to the situation
