Objective

The students will understand the purpose of marketing communication and can apply this information in marketing communication design. The student will be able to use various methods to create new ideas and approaches and carry out campaigns in printed and electronic media. The students can argue the solutions they arrived at both to the group and the customer.

The students will understand the importance of packaging in product, media and shop advertising and can solve design problems also from a product perspective.

The students will learn about photography subcategories and opportunities and can produce high-quality photo solutions that can be used in production.

- Creative thinking
- Process: assignment, design, presentation, approval and implementation
- Advertising approaches and design
- Roles and cooperation of customers, advertising agency and the media
- Electronic implementation of marketing communication
- Presentation content and techniques
- Name and logo of product or service
- Role of packaging to boost sales
- Role and opportunities of photos in communication
- Advertising photo: selection of topic, shooting and photo editing
- Basics of colour-managed studio photography
