Objective

Students select one of the following two options: (a) theatre technology or (b) production.
a.Students learn how to use lighting, sound or scenografic elements for dramatic expression. They are introduced to different areas of theatre engineering, and learn the basics of lighting, sound or scenografic design.
b.Students acquire an understanding of the elements involved in a theatre performance, as well as of the importance of marketing and PR to a production. They are introduced to the tasks of a theatre producer and learn the basics of marketing and PR work.

Content

a.Preparing a performance from the perspective of a lighting, sound or scenografic designer. Preparing a lighting plot, sound design or scenografic design. Assessing completed work and evaluation.
b.Preparing a performance from the perspective of a producer. Working as a producer in the preparation of a performance.
