Objective

Students knows the devices that are part of the basic performance technology systems, their properties, potential uses and principles of operation. Students know how to set up and operate systems. They are aware of the safety risks and they take them into consideration while using the system. They know how to use and apply the above mentioned skills as a means of expression.

Content

The course covers the basic live performance technology systems as a whole, their parts and wiring to other systems. Students learn to use performance technology equipment and know their technical specifications and possibilities. The course includes theoretical lectures as well as practical excercises.

Participating the lectures. Exercises done, some shortages.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Active participating to the lectures. Ability to adapt.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Active participating to the lectures. Ability to adapt and reflect. Exercises done with new knowledge to the subject.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.
