Objective

The student becomes familiar with the mechanical engineering solutions used in theatre and other performances.

Content

The course covers the machinery involved in live performance technology: above and below stage machinery, revolving stages, hoists, lifts, and the basic principles of scenery design. The course includes both theoretical lectures and practical exercises.
