Objective

Students understand the significance of older people's participation in different group activities, and they learn the basics of group dynamics. Students can plan and carry out versatile group activities for older people, in a goal-oriented way. Students can apply different guiding methods according to the group's special needs. Students can critically assess their own function as well as the goals set to the activity.

Basics of supervision and group activities and their application for older people. Different groups and group processes, group dynamics. Stages of grouping and basic skills of group supervising.
