Objective
Students become familiar with the rules and regulations regarding medication, medicines used in the care of the most common illnesses as well as their effects and side effects. They are aware of the appropriate use of medicines and know how to handle, store and destroy them safely.
Content
The basics of medication for different client groups of social services, ways to administer medicines and the different kinds of medicines, effects of medicines in the human body. The most common medicines used to treat health problems.
