Objective

Students familiarise themselves with young people's occupational behaviour and with the development of contributory factors. They understand how young people's occupational behaviour can be assessed and promoted in occupational therapy. Students are able to plan and assess occupational therapy processes for young people with a view to promoting occupational behaviour.

Development and developmental tasks in adolescence
Development and assessment of young people's occupational behaviour and its contributory factors
Approaches to and basics of promoting young people's occupational behaviour
Justified planning of a relevant occupational therapy process and application of suitable approaches
Conscious use of self in working with young people

This course includes a work placement (1 ECTS credit).
