Health Promotion MethodsLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

After completing the study unit, students master historical and present premises of health promotion in public health nurses’ work. They know how to apply work methods of health promotion appropriately to health promotion of individuals, families, groups, community and population and are able to provide examples of the effectiveness of these methods. Students are able to explain the planning process of health promotion and are able to evaluate the applicability of different work methods of health promotion to client work.
