Objective

The student will be able to describe the possibilities of IT utilization in a construction process and explain the way of using construction IT applications. The student will be able to choose appropriate IT applications to different tasks of a construction project and describe information exchange between applications. The student will be able to utilize the main applications of the construction field.

Construction IT applications, BIM utilization in project management, scheduling, analyzing.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student is able to use construction IT applications and repeat the tasks described in Learning outcomes. All the assignments are returned and approved.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to apply the learned skills in new and similar tasks. All the assignments are returned in a satisfactory manner and in time.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In addition to foregoing skills the student is interested in and capable to increase the productivity and to develop new ways to complete the assignments as well as validate their solutions. Returned assignments evidence the expertise and proficiency.
