Osaamistavoitteet

After completion of the course the student understands the concept of transfer function and the basics of frequency domain analysis with Fourier tools. The student is able to use Laplace transform to analyse and simulate circuits.

After completion of the course the student knows how to operate an oscilloscope, a network analyser and a spectrum analyser. The student can use a circuit analysis software to analyse a circuit both in frequency and time domains.

Sisältö

Frequency domain analysis using Fourier series and harmonic analysis. Time domain analysis using Laplace transform. Transformers and mutual inductance. Transfer function and resonance.

Different analysis methods (superposition, mesh current, node voltage methods) for the analysis of Laplace transformed circuits and signals.
