Objective

The student has the basic knowledge in metrology and is able to perform measurements taking the potential unreliability into account. The student is able to use the most common measurement equipment in electronics. He/she is able to use the LabView software.The student is familiar with the most common measurement sensors.

The contents and the assessment criteria of the course may be slightly different depending on the teacher of the course.

Content

1. Noise in measurement systems and the unreliability.
2. Basic measurements and measurement equipment in electronics.
3. LabView software in the control of measurement equipment.
4. Measurement sensors.
