General information

Credits
6 ECTS

Objective

The student is able to design the most common op amp circuits and is able to take into account the nonidealities of the op amp. The student is able to derive the frequency response of a circuit based on its transfer function. The student is able to design, simulate and measure some multistage active filters. The student is able to design and realize a Wien bridge oscillator. The student understands the principles of linear and nonlinear regulators. The student is able to use the op amp as a comparator. The student is able to analyze the most common A/D- and D/A- converters.

The contents and the assessment criteria of the course may be slightly different depending on the teacher of the course.
