On completion of this course the student will have basic knowledge of RFID technology and how it can be applied to real world applications in different industries.

EPC (electronic product code)
NFC (near field communications)
Manufacturing RFID tags.

Basic knowledge of RFID technologies and their properties. Understanding of nfc use cases. Basic knowledge of terms and standards used in the rfid industry.

Good command of rfid, nfc and epc technologies.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Excellent understanding of RFID, nfc and epc technologies and the related terminology. Excellent understanding of how different rfid technologies can be applied to different industries.
