Osaamistavoitteet

On completion of this course the student will know the goals of television in the social information system as an organizational unit of content production according to the division of functions of media. Also the paradigm of television culture will be introduced.

On completion of this course the student will be able to produce content material targeted to television platform. In addition to that the student has got competence to diverse tasks of small local television system broadcasting via cable.
In addition students will have skills to distribute video related content via web or cellular network.

The student knows the linear broadcasting for television and radio added with a non-linear Internet based distribution system. The student knows the logical differences in production and publishing contrasting the traditional system and IP profile. The student sets experimental video material into network delivery and participates in television production routines as an exercise.

In addition to above the student understands variable types of end-user terminal technologies in context to delivery and publishing systems. The student knows public service concepts of broadcasting and is able to estimate the development process of electronic publishing in comparison to all publish industry.

In addition to above the student knows widely the radio and television format media value-chain and the technologies affecting them. The student understands the generic information and communication technology application in electronic media and specific broadcasting technology in integrated systems. The student can implement productions systems for variable functional applications, targets and needs.
