Objective

Student will know how to plan and manage costs of an investment and evaluate profitability of an investment. Student will understand the basic terminology of investments and be able to evaluate investment calculations. Student will be able to budget a customer project and determine the sales price of it. Student will understand the basic methods to finance an investment.

Investment calculations:
- Is able to calculate profitability of company's own investments using one method
- Is able to evaluate profitability of an investment on the basis of different investment calculations

Project accounting:
- Knows contents of a project budget
- Knows different pricing methods
- Is able to evaluate profitability of projects

Financing of investments:
- Knows the usual financing opportunities of investments
