Part 1: Computing skills: 1,5 cr

Hardware and the local area network, data management and search processes
Technical skills for studying on the web and digital portfolio
The Internet - information security and data protection
E-mail
Text processing and technical standards related to documents and learning assignments
Introduction to image processing and graphics


Part 2: Written communication: 1, 5 cr


Professional text composition and layout, documents, e.g. job applications
Study-related writing: reporting, summaries and e-communication
Using, evaluating and referring to source material: professional literacy and editing
Information searching process
Seminar work, peer evaluation and group interaction
