Objective
Students perceive the emergence of rehabilitation needs in a client-centred manner. Students are familiar with the competences and functions of different professions in rehabilitation. Students understand rehabilitation as being a collaborative field and activity. Students understand rehabilitation and perceive its influence on their own profession.
Content
Rehabilitation as a branch of study, a discipline and a societal operational system in an operating environment based on multidisciplinary expertise. Basic values of rehabilitation - status and engagement of clients in rehabilitation. Rehabilitation as a whole described by people in rehabilitation and rehabilitation experts from different fields. Basis of a good rehabilitation practise. The foundations of rehabilitation plans. Interactive framework of functioning, disability and health (ICF).
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Students use the appropriate core concepts as well as make choices using the knowledge base of their own professional field. They recognise the prerequisites and consequences of their own actions.
Student acti according to the rules and instructions given, and they use working methods appropriately and safely.
Students work according to the professional ethics of their own field, and act responsibly as group memebers.
