Objective
To counterbalance stress and performance anxiety, it is a good idea to stop and enhance your ability to be genuinely present in what you are doing. This course focuses on methods of increasing your inner resources, and conscious presence. On the course, we examine the continuum from performance to being and coping, which is the basis of working in a specialist position. We will also find tools to help us encounter clients. The themes covered range from recognizing your boundaries to compassion.
Content
The course covers relaxation, Hatha yoga, mindfulness and meditation. The exercises include creative assignments such as writing and visual expression both during and outside the contact teaching sessions. Other requirements include reading the requisite literature and writing a learning journal as well as a summary.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The course is assested on the scale pass/fail/suplemented. The course requires taking part to the contact teaching. Absence will be replaced with substitute jobs. To accomplish the course it is required to do the learnig journal, a summary report and exercises.
