Basics in Musculoskeletal RadiologyLaajuus (1 ECTS)

Objective

The student becomes familiar with the basic methods of imaging and modelling musculoskeletal disorders and injuries in Finland. He/she understands the possibilities and limitations of different imaging methods in the diagnostics and follow-up of musculoskeletal disorders. The student is capable of basic X-ray interpretation (or CT or MRI images) of the most common musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. He/she also becomes familiar with the possibilities of musculoskeletal ultrasound.
