Objective

Musculoskeletal examination and diagnosis. Anatomic dissections using embalmed cadavers. Purpose of the course is to get students familiar with anatomical basis of common musculoskeletal disorders. Dissections help students understand anatomical and mechanical background of clinical musculoskeletal diagnostics.

Further information

Musculoskletal clinical examinations part will be held at Metropolia, Vanha Viertotie 23.
The dissections will take palce at Tampere university.
The dissections are made possiplbe by people donating their bodies to the use of medical education.
The cadavers are embalmed using ethanol- formaldehyde solution to preserve the cadavers.
All protective clothing will be provided by Tampere university.
