Objective

The students
* master the physical and technical basics of magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography (CT) and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and can apply their knowledge
* are able to work safely with MRI and CT scans with various patient groups and are familiar with the contrast agents used, and their safe use
* can explain the indications and contraindications of MRI and CT contrast agents
* can explain the uses of CT and MRI in diagnostics and image-guided procedures, and understand their importance in overall patient care
* understand multidisciplinary activities and their own responsibilities in patient care
* are able to work in a patient-oriented way with MRI, CT and CBCT scans
* are familiar with the anatomical structures of the head, neck and back, and understand their basic physiology
* are familiar with the key factors related to contrast media enhancement in computer tomography
* are familiar with the basics of image quality and radiation dose optimisation in CT and CBCT examinations
- are familiar with the basics of image quality evaluation and optimisation in MRI examinations
