Objective
The course applies skills learnt in earlier courses to project management.
On completion of the course the student
- knows the main stages and principles of project development
- understands the importance of project economics in the operation of a construction company
- understands project finance
- is able to form a target for a given project
- is able to set the customer´s requirements as the goal in designing
- understands the main principles of design guidance at different stages of a project
- can increase the profitability of a project.
Content
Students familiarise themselves with a topical project from land acquisition to supply especially from the point of view of design guidance and development. During the course students familiarise themselves with how a project plan is developed through different design solutions to a finished product.

Basics of Construction Economics, Cost Management, Construction Contracts and Procurements, Production Management

RP21Rakentamisen projektinhallinta
Objective
Opintojaksolla sovelletaan aikaisemmilla opintojaksoilla opittuja projektinhallintaan liittyviä asioita.
Opintojakson jälkeen opiskelija:
- osaa projektikehityshankkeen päävaiheet ja periaatteet
- ymmärtää projektiliiketoiminnan merkityksen rakennusliikkeen toiminnassa
- ymmärtää projektin talouden pääperiaatteet
- osaa itse muodostaa tavoitteen annetulle projektille
- osaa asettaa asiakkaan vaatimukset tavoitteeksi suunnitteluryhmälle
- ymmärtää suunnittelunohjauksen pääperiaatteet projektin eri vaiheissa
- osaa kehittää projektikehityshankkeen kannattavuutta.
Content
Opiskelija perehtyy ajankohtaiseen hankkeeseen maanhankinnasta kohteen luovutukseen erityisesti suunnittelunohjaukseen ja rakennuttamisen näkökulmasta. Jaksolla käydään lävitse hankesuunnitelman tavoitteen jalostuminen eri suunnitteluratkaisujen kautta lopputuotteeksi.
