Objective
The student understands the importance of biotechnology and genetic engineering applications, their industry and markets in both domestic and global scale. The student knows different biotechnology and genetic engineering applications.
The student has an understanding of biotechnological processes to produce a variety of commodities. The student is able to use methods and applications of genetic engineering used in industry. The student is aware of the trend of sustainability in the field of biotechnology.
The student is familiar with the most common methods for modifying production strains and proteins and is aware of the molecular biology involved.
