Objective
The student
• can study and reproduce others' music by creating transcriptions and can define the importance of quality music notation in conveying musical information
• learns the basic use of notational software
• can prepare practice and performance scores of their own music for small ensemble instruments
• can work in a goal-oriented manner as an active member of a group and provide constructive feedback on the work of other group members.

• Basic use of notation software and preparing musical scores
• Studying the elements of music through transcriptions
Qualifications
Degree according to the extended syllabus level of basic education in music in Finland or equivalent skills and knowledge.

The student

• can work according to given assignments and schedules
