Objective

The student
• is able to present their plans by using technical drawings and three-dimensional visualisations in a digital format
• is able to publish drawings and presentation drawings and to make print files out of them.

Content

• Technical drawing tools, dimensioning, scales, cuts and projections
• Know-how of 3D-visualisation in different operating situations
• Data transfer between different CAD-programs
• Construction drawings and dimensioning (2D)
• Presentation drawings and rendering (3D)
• Printing

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student
• has partially achieved the objectives of the course
• understands the whole related to the use of 2D and 3D programs
• is able to present plans as technical drawings and three-dimensional visualisations in digital form and knows their significance as part of the quality of the final design work
• is able to publish drawings and presentation images and prepare print files from them
• has successfully completed the assignments.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student
• has achieved the objectives of the course well
• is familiar with the use of 2D and 3D programs
• is able to use 2D and 3D programs in an appropriate way
• is able to present plans as technical drawings and three-dimensional visualisations in digital form and understands their significance as part of the quality of the final design work
• is able to publish drawings and presentation images and prepare print files from them
• has successfully completed the course assignments and has been able to apply what they have learnt in carrying them out.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
• has excellently achieved the objectives of the course
• is familiar with the use of 2D and 3D programs
• is able to use 2D and 3D programs in an appropriate way
• masters the presentation of plans in the form of technical drawings and three-dimensional visualisations in digital form and understands their significance as part of the quality of the final design work
• is able to publish drawings and presentation images and prepare print files from them
• has completed the tasks of the course and applied what they have learned with particular merit.
