Students deepen their knowledge on a current theme of digital media. Themes can be, for example, technology-driven, service innovation driven or design process model driven.

- Learning about the current theme, using technical or design-oriented knowledge in practice

Inadequate participation in class. Assignments need improvement. Student does not completely meet the learning objectives defined in the course outline.

Active participation in class. Ability to apply the learned knowledge. Self-initiated learning. Student meets the learning objectives defined in the course outline.

Active participation in class. Ability to apply the learned knowledge and reflect on it. Development driven approach to coursework. Generation of new knowledge and contribution to the course.
