Objective

The aim with the course is to give the students possibilities to implement and apply knowledge about sustainable water management in project type of work.

Content

Project managment in connection to climate change , resources, concepts for planning water resources, , irrigation, climate change and sustainable systems, dams, extrem weather condition for management of water resources, drought and flood management. Water retention and flow in soils, hydropower, agricultural, knowlegde about dams.

To define or describe the subject matter related to the concepts and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the associated basic quantitative comparisons and calculations

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student is able to apply, calculate, change and choose the concepts related to the matter and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the basic quantitative calculations as well as to complete and produce the necessary information for the calculations.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students is able to categorize, collect, combine and generalize the concepts related to the matter and phenomena qualitatively and calculate the basic quantitative calculations as well as derive and rearrange given basic information.
