Objective

After the course student is capable to design an renewable energy system in schematic level and/or manage renewable energy projects. Design and project type varies annually.

Content

1. Design of a distributed energy system

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1. Student is capable to design a simple distributed renewable energy system in a project plan level.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

1. Student is capable to design a simple renewable energy system in a schematic level.
2. Apply the design process to solve an engineering problem as part of team.
3. Effectively describe your team’s product and convey your team’s challenges, solutions and reasoning both orally and in writing.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

1. Student is capable to design a renewable energy system in a schematic level.
2. Apply the design process to solve an engineering problem as part of team and as in a individual level.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

1. Student is capable to design a simple distributed renewable energy system in a project plan level.
