• is aware of the challenges of globalisation and urbanisation and can act to address them
• understands the importance of social sustainability as part of globalisation and urbanisation and is familiar with the foundations of eco-social approach in social pedagogy

• Theoretical background of urbanisation and globalisation
• Manifestations of urbanisation and globalisation such as migration and homelessness and their impact on people's lives
• Segregation, its effects and prevention
• Community work, structural social work
• Place-based and community-oriented urban development
• The importance of place and space
• Social sustainability and the eco-social approach in social pedagogy
