Learning contents
By the end of the course, students will:

* be familiar with the purchasing process and the actors in each phase of it
* different ways of organizing purchasing and procurement
* have a good understanding of different purchasing strategies and the means of supplier choices associated with them

Skills contents

The student will be able to:
*describe and analyse systematically a company purchasing process including strategy, ourchasing policy, cooperative customs, supplier coices, supplier management, daily purchases, shopping, stocking and costs thereof, transportation, and IT-systems.
* use tools for quality control, make a SWOT analysis and interpret the content of purchasingportfolio
