Objective

Student knows the methods of strategic planning. He knows the rules for applying the basic method to Software Business. He knows which new technologies and new business models can be used as drivers to create competitive advantage in this field. He know the principles of financial planning and he is familiar with the Industry-specific legislation.

Student can make strategic plans for a software business. He recognizes useful industry drivers and can apply company-specific resources. He is able to analyse a company to find critical success factors and combine them with outside resources. He can use the strategic tools specific for this industry. He can make a feasibility study for a case and he can pay attention to the legislation affecting it.
