Ergonomics and Vocal CareLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

Students learn about the ergonomics of being a musician and the challenges of caring for the voice. Students work with their teacher to create goals and objectives for their studies and evaluation criteria.

Content

The physical characteristics and challenges of ergonomics for the working musician, playing positions, training and rest, and vocal care. Lessons are focused on the needs of the study group and making them aware of their own physical activity, and the adoption and implementation of best practice for training and performance in order to prevent injuries.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Evaluation focuses on course work, knowledge acquired by the end of the course and achievement of the course objectives.
