Objective

After completing the course, the student can implement organisational operations in the form of a development project. The student knows key RDI processes and the processes and methods of project management. The student is able to apply the development and research process and its methods. The student can apply the reporting principles in a scientific writing project and project documentation.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

After completing the course, the student can plan and implement development projects. The student knows the development and research process and methods. The student identifies the reporting principles in scientific writing and project documentation.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

After completing the course, the student can plan, implement and evaluate analytically development projects. The student masters the tools and methods of the research and development process. The student can apply the reporting principles in scientific writing and project documentation.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

After completing the course, the student can plan, implement, lead and evaluate analytically and critically development projects. The student masters widely the tools and methods of the research and development process. The student can apply the reporting principles in scientific writing and project documentation and justify their use. The student understands the ethical questions related to RDI projects and can apply information in RDI processes.

Further information

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Recognition of prior learning as a partial solution is not included in the Research and development methods course. The student will get full recognition of prior learning (15 cr) if the student has done advanced subject studies (60 cr) in a university. The student can apply for recognition of prior learning for the Master’s Thesis.
The RDI studies will be integrated into the Master's Thesis process.
