Objective

The students are able to analyse various phenomena and to engage themselves actively in the current debate in the social field. They can conceptualise and make empirical information visible. The students are encouraged to question non-functioning work practices and to seek alternative solutions for them. The students familiarise themselves with the contemporary research carried out in the field of child, youth and family work and are able to both assess the influence that the contemporary research has on developing work practices as well as critically apply the research results in their work. The course further supports the students in developing their special expertise.
