Objective

The student enhances his/her competence in demanding emergency care leadership positions. The student is able to apply evidence-based practices to leading daily operations, exceptional situations and mass casualty incidents in cooperation with various authorities. The student is able to plan and anticipate the resources needed for emergency care and is proficient in communication systems in everyday and exceptional situations. The student is familiar with the management systems of different authorities and the role of voluntary emergency service as well as understands the significance of cooperation in mass or multiple casualty incidents.

- Emergency Response Centre operations
- Situational leadership in emergency services

- Legislation and reporting
- Incidents under normal circumstances and in exceptional situations
