Objective

On completion of the course the student has an understanding of cyber security, vulnerabilities and cyber security strategies in different contexts. In addition, the student acquires knowledge about contemporary cyber security threats and cyber defence. Students also learn to evaluate cyber security practices based on ongoing research and can follow the professional development of this domain.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student has achieved the objectives of the course to a satisfactory level. The student will be able to identify, define and use the course subject area’s concepts and models. The student has completed the required learning exercises at the minimum requirement level. They will have developed their competence in such a way that they have the potential to develop in their field and eventually to work in the field.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student has achieved the course objectives well, even though the knowledge and skills need improvement in some areas. The student has completed the required learning tasks at a good or satisfactory level. The student is able to define well the concepts and models of the subject matter of the course and is able to carry out a reasoned analysis. The student is able to apply their knowledge in study and working life situations.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has achieved the objectives of the course with excellent marks. The student has completed the course learning tasks at a good or excellent level. The student has an excellent command of the subject matter of the course concepts and models. The student is able to make justified and fluent analysis and to present concrete development measures. The student is well prepared to apply their knowledge in study and working life situations.
