Objective

Elective studies refer to the master-level studies which belong to the degree and are accepted into the study programme. These studies can be freely chosen from the programmes at Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences or from other universities.

The university is willing to transfer previously acquired credits if they are accepted by the study programme. Study programme mentors are able to recommend additional studies related to each student's own field of expertise. The aim of elective studies is to deepen and complement students' professional expertise.
