Development

The curriculum 2017 work was done in cooperation with business companies, business professionals and alumni, and as a joint effort of the Business School and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. This resulted in two “sister programmes”, both titled as Master’s degree programmes in Business Informatics: We have a 60 ECTS programme leading to the degree Master of Engineering and a 90 ECTS programme leading to the degree Master of Business Administration. The Advisory Board of the Business School of Helsinki Metropolia UAS approved of the curriculum in January 2017.

International partners of Metropolia offer suitable ways of collaboration for adult students studying part-time. Two partner universities in Berlin, a partner university in Daegu, South Korea, as well as partners in Turkey, and Canada, are among those with whom we provide internationalization opportunities for Master’s students. Also the international and multicultural student- and lecturer group provide the students a good insight into multicultural and diverse businesses.
