Advanced IP Technologies for MultimediaLaajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

After completing the course, the students will understand Mobile IP and IPv6, transfer of multimedia content in IP-networks using Multicasting and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), related signalling and transfer protocols such as Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Real Time Procols (RTP, RTCP) and voice over IP (VoIP) technologies.
